So today I went down to ICA Building to collect my new passport! Waited for about half an hour before it was my turn to collect. Was quite a fast process actually, and I think I look ugly in the new passport :/ Afterwhich bused down to East Coast Park! Like finally I went to the beach! Slight drizzle, but didn't really affect me at all! Reach there about 2.30pm I guess? And half an hour later, I got the cravings for Starbucks, which led me to walk to and back from Big Splash, taking me about an hour? And fyi, I walked from the street soccer court (near McDonald's). So it was a freaking far walk for me, and I happily thought it was just nearby -.-

Stayed at the breakwaters for about 4hours plus? Took a couple of photos and left the place at about 7pm! Wanted to stay longer, but its kinda ulu when walking towards the bus stop, so I didn't stay longer! Saw alot of weird and funny things whilst I was at the beach. Lol! Shall not mention it here!

So basically, I stayed there from the sky was bright, till it was somewhat dark. From low tide, till high tide. From very few people, to slightly bustling. Saw a couple of people pitching tents there. Make me wanna try camping overnight as well, but I know my mum won't allow me to. :/ Also saw a family brought along their golden retriever to the beach! It's like such a nice scene! When I get my own dog, I'm so gonna bring him/her to the beach regularly! &I believe I'll pamper the dog like mad! Once I have my own dog, I think I'll help SPCA foster a few as well? Too early to say now, but I should start planning!

Took a long bus ride home, and I realise I have been sitting alot today! My bum do hurt along from all the sitting :/ Bought back Long John Silver's for dinner and watched the 9pm show! Now I'm sitting down using my laptop, and seriously, my bum really hurts alot. No joke!

A trip to the beach really made me much more relaxed now. The breeze, the scenery, the crashing of the waves. Everything. It really soothes my mind and soul, and made me realize that there is something worth living for? Okay not so serious, but it let me understand that there is still beauty in this world despite the ups and downs that we have been going through for the past few years. As long as we do not dwell on the negative things and stay positive, we can always feel good about ourselves and not let minor things affect our mood. As the saying goes: "No matter what happens, life still goes on." It's always in our hands, on how we want to lead our lives. We can either dwell on the negativity and lead a sucky life, or we can be positive and lead a happy and fulfilling life. I mean our own lives are in our own hands. We are the director/author/script-writer of our own lives. Its up to us on how we want to mould it and make it much more meaningful and worthwhile. The start may be bitter and mentally exhausting, but the fruit of our labor will always be sweeter. As the chinese saying goes: 先苦后甜. No matter what we do in our lives, we will eventually reap what we sow. If we put in hard work, the reward will be satisfying and vice versa.

I always believe, "What's yours will always be yours". This can be applied no matter where we are and what we do. E.g. friends/enemies we make, boyfriends/girlfriends, work opportunities and etc. If you try to force something to go your way, be prepared for the consequences. For me, I believe everything happened for a reason and we have no one to blame/thank but ourselves.

Feel like continuing, but I guess this post is wordy enough. Thus, i'll save it for my next few post! :D

p/s: I wanna get Starbucks's tumbler! Was so tempted to get it when I was paying for my drink earlier today!
